Lithium-Ion-Polymer batteries are rechargeable batteries which, unlike Ni-MH, Li-Ion or Ni-Cd - store energy without a metall housing. The electrodes are supplied with a plastic/aluminium coat which allows a much lighter design. Like the Li-Ion batteries, Li-Ion-Polymer batteries are produced in different sizes and need special chargers.
